calling and sending me text messages stating i purchased something when i called back they refused name of company refused to say how they got my number or where i purchased something refused to put manager on phone and 5 different people all with the same accent hung up on me they where rude and i am extremely upset

i have two phone calls today from the same number i did not answer the call becouse i do not reconize the number my phone number is on the do not call list and i am getting tried of this phone calls

Looked up this # & evidently from Chicago area. Other sites say the Chicago Tribune...well, if theycan deliver daily paper on time-early morning.....( I doubt it, my location is San Francisco Bay area) Maybe I'll answer next time & play them along....you just get so frustrated at these calls!

Not sure who this is. The first time he called he asked for a different person's name and then he called me back and asked for me. My name is on my voicemail though. The message stated that he was from the Department of Law Enforcement. He did not say what it was for. Saying I owed some money. He also had broken English.

I received 3 calls from this number but no voicemail messages. When I finally called the number back, a woman answered and said they were handling my Macy's account and I should give them my number. I refused. She then asked me for my phone number and first and last name. I refused again and she angrily said she needed this information from me. I hung up and checked the number online and found this is a scam.
